Nova Scotia vacations are truly worlds-away from anything you’ve ever experienced. Renowned for the highest tides in the world at the Bay of Fundy, award-winning vineyards scattered about the province, nationally recognized chefs at the helm of Nova Scotia restaurants and over 700 festivals annually, Nova Scotia is a place of remarkable natural beauty and thriving culture. Relax at Peggy’s Cove fishing village, go on a whale watching trip, tour the Cabot Trail on Cape Breton Island, experience Nova Scotia golf, learn about Nova Scotia genealogy or explore one of Canada’s Seven Wonders—Pier 21—on a Halifax tour. Remember a Nova Scotia accommodation can be found for every style of getaway, from a seaside inn to a quaint bed and breakfast or an urban Nova Scotia hotel.

Our Rich History

  • Learn all about Alexander Graham Bell and his work at the national historic site overlooking Baddeck Bay. You will find artifacts, models, photos and films relating to Bell’s scientific and humanitarian work, and you will discover how he and his associates produced the fastest boat in the world.
  • At Pier 21 in Halifax, learn the stories of the 1.5 million immigrants, war brides, evacuee children, and displaced people who first experienced Canada between 1928 and 1971.
  • Step back even farther in time at the national historic site of Port Royal where Samuel de Champlain of France established a fur-trading post. Tour reconstructed early 17th century buildings with the help of costumed interpreters and period demonstrations.
